Our training philosophy

Training for real-world competence

Since 2008, we have provided training for companies that need to develop practical competence in the safe use of personal fall protection systems, rescue, and the inspection of personal fall protection equipment.

Participants learn not only how to carry out a task, but also why, which conditions must be met, and when work or an assessment needs to be stopped and reconsidered.

Upon successful completion, participants should have the knowledge to understand and the competence to apply that knowledge in practice.

Passing requires demonstrated knowledge and skills

Our training courses are based on:

• defined learning objectives
• controlled training materials
• instruction, practice and feedback
• theoretical and practical assessments with clear criteria for passing

A stronger basis for employers to assess competence

Employers are responsible for ensuring that people assigned tasks have the knowledge and competence needed to carry out the work safely.

The training certificate provides employers with a sound basis for assessing competence, as the participant’s knowledge and practical skills have been assessed against defined objectives.

Quality-assured training

Our training courses are developed, managed and reviewed within our management system, in line with the principles of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

The content is based on:

• applicable occupational health and safety legislation
• relevant regulations and standards
• current instructions for use and product documentation
• defined training and assessment requirements

This creates a clear link between requirements, risk assessment, practical work and the decisions participants need to make in real situations.

Practical training at our own training facility

Our training facility in Stockholm is designed for realistic training under controlled conditions. Here, participants can practise working in and around:

• vertical structures such as lattice masts, ladder access routes and façades
• inclined and horizontal surfaces
• confined or enclosed spaces
• beam systems for rope access and self-evacuation

This makes it possible to progress from regulations and risk assessment to actual use, problem-solving and practical skills within the same training environment.
