Would you like us to perform your periodic inspection?
You can either drop off or ship your equipment to us, or alternatively, we can perform the inspection on-site at your premises. Using our inspection software, Q-Control, we digitalize the equipment log for each individual component. Following the inspection, every component is issued an inspection report and an inspection label indicating the deadline for the next inspection. This inspection label clearly informs the user whether the component is approved for use. A reminder is automatically sent via email three months before the next periodic inspection is due. You can also get a personal login to Q-Control, allowing you to view all your equipment and view or download all your reports.
Products we inspect
We are certified by CAMP, Innotech, Tractel, and IKAR to perform periodic inspections, servicing, and repairs on all of their products. Additionally, we are authorized to conduct periodic inspections on all other brands where the user manual states that a competent person is permitted to perform the inspection.
What are the benefits?
- Increased safety and lifespan.
- Q-Control automatically sends a reminder 3 months before the next inspection is due.
- An inspection report is included with each component.
- If desired, you can download the inspection report for each component as a PDF directly in Q-Control.
- Your equipment log is digitalized for each component, and all inspections are registered in the log so that the history of the component can be tracked throughout its entire lifespan.
- Each component receives an inspection label showing when the next inspection is due, making it clear to the user if the equipment is safe to use.
What does it cost?
- Inspection is charged on a time-and-materials basis at 850 SEK/hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour, regardless of the number of products.
- For on-site inspections at your location, travel expenses apply at 450 SEK/hour per inspector plus 60 SEK/mil (10 km).
- Any shipping costs will be added.
Requirements for conducting the periodic inspection
- User manual available for each product: The user manual specifies what needs to be checked on the product and is therefore mandatory for an inspector to perform a periodic inspection. If it is missing, we must search for it from the manufacturer, which takes up unnecessary and costly time for you.
- Equipment log available for each product: This is usually found in the user manual but can also be kept in a separate document or digitally. Regardless, the inspector must have access to it, as the equipment log contains the complete history of the product.
- Cleaned equipment: If the equipment is visibly dirty, it is impossible to distinguish between general dirt and potential chemical exposure. Textiles are sensitive to chemicals, paints, etc., which often leads to the inspector immediately failing the product.
Why must the equipment log and user manual be included?
In order for an inspector to carry out the inspection, an equipment log and a user manual must be provided. If you have lost the user manual that came with the product, the inspector can usually locate a digital copy from the manufacturer. However, this can sometimes take time—time that you as a customer will have to pay for. Therefore, please ensure that the user manual is always included with the products when you submit them for inspection. This makes the process faster and more cost-effective for you. Furthermore, if you have filled out the product's log directly inside the user manual, it is automatically included. If you use digital equipment logs, please email them to us prior to the inspection. Equipment that has previously been inspected by us already has a digital equipment log in our inspection software, meaning you do not need to bring it.
What happens during a periodic inspection if a product has been used but lacks an equipment log?
If a product has been used but lacks a completed history log, there are two options:
- The history is unknown: The product is decommissioned/scrapped.
- The history is known: If the history can be verified and the product passes the periodic inspection, a new equipment log can be established.
What counts as known history? That the user can account for the product's usage and confirm that it has never been subjected to anything that could compromise its safety—for example, that the product has been kept in a warehouse and stored according to the user manual.
