5. Rescue

If a person is unable to reach a safe place without assistance following a fall, injury or other incident, rescue must be planned before the work begins.

Rescue preparedness is not only about equipment. There must also be a workable plan, the right conditions and people who are able to act.

Rescue must be planned before it is needed.
