By safe place, we mean a location where the person is no longer exposed to the immediate hazard and where further assistance can be provided safely.
A safe place is therefore not automatically:
- ground level,
- the nearest roof surface,
- the first platform,
- the point where the rescue equipment reaches its limit.
What constitutes a safe place depends on the workplace and the incident.
Remember
Plan the rescue all the way to a safe place.
